HB274 - (tax revenue prohibition) - An Act regarding Sales Tax Revenue - Died In Committee

This bill amends the sales tax law to prohibit the distribution of tobacco sales tax revenue to any community that enacts an ordinance that restricts smoking or other tobacco use. Currently, 18.5% of the total sales tax revenue collected in a municipality is paid back to the municipality.
