This bill weakens the new smokefree air law by creating exemptions to permit enclosed smoking rooms in places of employment and food service establishments, which includes restaurants, coffee shops, taverns, bars, nightclubs, etc. Additionally, smoking would be permitted in licensed membership clubs and on outdoor patios of food service establishments.
