This bill discourages smoking in congregate areas of state parks and historic sites, which are defined as restrooms, places where people gather for events inside or outside, including tours, eating, recreation, information or learning, as well as playgrounds, picnic areas, gazebos, pavilions, portions of beaches in state parks, and outside stage areas. This does not apply to open air venues rented for private use including, but not limited to campsites and picnic pavilions.
