This bill makes several amendments to the current smokefree air law. The bill removes the exemptions for truck stops, residential facilities, private clubs, fundraisers, tobacco sampling events, drinking establishments, and gaming establishments. The exemptions are kept for cigar bars and retail tobacco shops. Additionally, the bill would repeal preemption and restore local control.
