This Special Session bill prohibits smoking in public places that require licensing by specified agencies, such as restaurants and bars. Smoking is still permitted in non-hospitality workplaces, tobacco shops, tobacco bars, outdoor area of restaurants & bars, non-publically-accessible porch or patio, theater production sets, and a convention of tobacco-related businesses.
