This bill prohibits smoking in enclosed public places and places of employment, including within 12 feet of doorways. Exemptions permit smoking in horse racing, riverboat, and other gambling facilities; cigar bars and hookah bars that generate at least 10% of sales from cigars or hookah tobacco and prohibit people under age 21; and retail tobacco shops that generate at least 80% of sales from tobacco products and prohibit people under age 18. These exemptions do not qualify in rooms or areas of the facilities that allow people under age 18.
