HB80 - (hospitals) - An Act relative to smoking in hospitals - Signed by Governor

This bill amends current law to state that the Department of Health and Hospitals does not have to create smoking areas for inpatients and inmates who smoke. Current law requires that the governing board of a psychiatric hospital, and the Department of Public Safety and Corrections, and the Department of Health and Hospitals shall establish rules and policies to reasonably accommodate inpatients and inmates who smoke.
