Substitute A to this bill authorizes police officers to provide a verbal warning that smoking is dangerous to children to anyone who is smoking in a motor vehicle containing a child who in a child restraint system. The original bill would have prohibited smoking in a motor vehicle containing a child who in a child restraint system.
