SB0053 - (outdoor smoking enclosure exemption) - A bill concerning health - Postponed in Public Health Committee; Rule 3-9(a) / Re-referred to Assignments

This bill amends the Smoke Free Illinois Act to allow partially enclosed outdoor smoking areas that are at least 15’ away from building entrances. Outdoor “patios” need only have one wall that is partially open or made of permeable material, so the space may effectively be largely enclosed.
