This bill prohibits smoking in enclosed workplaces and public places, including restaurants, bars, gaming facilities, and private clubs. The bill also prohibits smoking in all private and semi-private rooms in nursing homes; all hotel and motel rooms; within 20 feet of entrances and windows of buildings required to be smokefree; outdoor property adjacent to government buildings; on and within 20 feet of restaurant and bar patio dining areas; within 20 feet of outdoor stadiums/arenas/bleachers, playgrounds, and public transportation stations; outdoor service lines; outdoor common areas of multi-family housing; and outdoor places of employment where two or more people work. The bill also prohibits use of e-cigarettes in smokefree spaces and includes an anti-preemption clause.

EXEMPTIONS: Smoking is permitted in private residences except when used as a child care/adult day care/health care facility.
