AB170 - (preemptive e-cigarette bill) - An Act relating to regulating the use of vapor products—Session Adjourned

This bill is preemptive and prohibits any local governments from restricting where e-cigarettes can be used, except in government buildings. The bill also prohibits the use of e-cigarettes, called vapor products, inside child care centers when children are present, as well as in schools and hospitals. An amendment offered by Rep. Kleefisch would allow cities and counties to restrict e-cigarette use on their government buildings, but maintains the rest of the preemption provision.
