HB5029 - (smoking area exemption) - An Act concerning health—Session Adjourned

This bill creates an exemption to allow smoking in any facility built prior to August 14, 2015 that was constructed for the purpose of compliance with the Smoke Free Illinois Act, including buildings created solely for the purpose of smoking at which no food or alcohol is served and outdoor smoking areas. The bill was amended to specifically exempt veterans’ organizations.
