HSS Committee Chair:
HSS Committee Vice Chair:
Senate Majority Leader and SB63 Champion:

Meet your legislator in person at one of their district events or other public meetings.

Let the committee members know why you personally support smokefree workplaces for every worker in Alaska.  Tell them your story about secondhand smoke exposure and why it is important to protect all workers in Alaska from secondhand smoke:  Smokefree air saves lives, saves money, and dramatically reduces the risk of chronic disease like heart disease and cancer.  There is no safe level of exposure to secondhand smoke. The secondhand emissions of e-cigarettes and other electronic smoking devices also create a health hazard for others.  Therefore, vaping devices should not be used inside smokefree spaces.

Thank you for your support of smokefree air.
