This bill creates an exemption to allow marijuana smoking at venues that receive a temporary event license from the state and get approval by the local jurisdiction. Marijuana smoking at temporary events is prohibited in locations where smoking is prohibited. Local jurisdictions may allow marijuana smoking and vaporizing on the premises of a retailer or microbusiness if access is restricted to people over age 21, consumption is not visible from public places, and alcohol and tobacco sales are not allowed.
