HB 1956 -Removing restaurants from the provisions of the clean indoor air act (DIED)

This bill exempts restaurants from the state Clean Indoor Air Act law by removing restaurants from the definition of a public place and removes the requirement that restaurants must have smoking and non-smoking sections. The bill also allows local health departments to enact laws to regulate smoking in restaurants.
