HB104-An Act relating to local government referendums

This bill allows more issues to go to a public vote either by referenda or petition, and reduces the required number of signatures on a petition from 20% to 3%. The bill would make it easier to send smokefree air issues to the ballot, either initially as a referendum or to overturn a local law.
