Gov. Doyle's proposal already in effect in county

Sheboygan County is ahead of Gov. Jim Doyle when it comes to banning smoking in government-owned buildings...

On Friday, Doyle ordered that all state-owned buildings be made smoke-free within 30 days and urged the Legislature to pass a bill making all local government buildings smoke-free as well.
