Group lobbies for smoking ban

Supporters of a smoking ban in the Queen City took their case to the state capitol Wednesday. Members of Smoke Free Charlotte lobbied lawmakers to ban smoking in Mecklenburg County restaurants and bars.

Opponents say the ban would be bad for business while supporters point to other states where they say the ban actually helped.
