Don't be confused over Is sues 4 and 5 on Tuesday's statewide ballot.

Just remember this: Vote against Issue 4, dubbed Smoke Less Ohio by its sup porters. And vote in favor of Issue 5, otherwise known as SmokeFree Ohio...

Passage of Issue 4 also would prevent local governments in Ohio from enacting their own smoking measures, thereby trampling the home-rule provision in the Ohio Constitution. And it would supersede Issue 5, a far more encompassing smoking ban.

Because Issue 4 would clutter the Constitution, the legislature would be prohibited from amending it to conform with changing times, which is yet another of the many reasons that argue strongly for Issue 4's defeat.
