EXEMPTIONS: Smoking is allowed in private residences except when used as child/adult/health care facilities; 20% of rooms in hotels/motels with more than 25 rooms; workplaces of any employer with fewer than three employees (does not apply to any public place); retail tobacco stores; designated smoking areas within long-term care facilities; Outdoor areas of places of employment; All workplaces of any manufacturer, importer, or wholesaler of tobacco products, of any tobacco leaf dealer or processor, and all tobacco storage facilities; all restaurants and bars that prohibit anyone under age 18 at all times from entering the premises if secondhand smoke does not infiltrate into areas in which smoking is prohibited.
