Legislative Summary

SB503 - (workplaces & restaurants) - A Bill relating to health coverage - Died

An amendment to make places of employment and restaurants smokefree was added to a health care coverage bill. The amendment exempts bars and truck stops, but does not provide any definitions, so there is a potential that bars and truck stops could be considered areas of restaurants and other workplaces.
