January 1st marked the first anniversary of the Louisiana smoking ban.

The bill prohibits smoking inside restaurants and other public businesses and pushes smokers at least 25 feet away from public entrances of those facilities.

For the past year, smoking in restaurants in Louisiana has been illegal, something Cecilia Benson owns Ceal's Cafe in Bossier City says has been good for eatery. She says some of her regulars quit coming at first, but that eventually changed.
