HB4184 - (smoking license & casino exemption) - An Act concerning public health - Defeated in Environmental Health Committee

This bill amends the Illinois Clean Indoor Air Act to create an exemption to allow smoking licenses for the following establishments: bars with less than 10% of food sales, gaming venues, adult entertainment venues, private clubs, and cigar/tobacco conventions. It also would exempt riverboat casinos located within 5 miles of the Illinois border for five years or until the bordering state goes smokefree in casinos.
