This bill prohibits smoking in all enclosed public places and places of employment, including restaurants and bars. However, each county must put this law to a vote of the people to determine if the county shall be subject to the law.

EXEMPTIONS: Smoking is allowed in outdoor areas beyond 10 feet of entrances of buildings required to be smokefree; private homes except when used as day care or an in-home business which is accessible to the general public or is occupied by at least one non-related employee; 20% of hotel/motel rooms; private automobiles; freight trains; and commercial motor vehicles.
