HB466 - (nursing homes) - An Act relative to the Louisiana Smokefree Air Act - Signed by the Governor

This bill amends the current state law to amend an exemption that allows smoking in certain areas of nursing homes. The amendment would require that the permitted designated smoking rooms of nursing homes which permit smoking cannot be the reception area, lobby, waiting room, or any other room or area defined as a public place.
