This bill amends the Smoke Free Illinois Act to create an exemption to allow smoking in enclosed laboratories, not open to the public, at university or government facilities for the purpose of medical or scientific health-related research. There are also several administrative changes for how the law will be enforced and how violations will be dealt with.
