Proos Expects State Budget Agreement Soon

As the state legislature gets ready to complete its current term, State Representative John Proos thinks it'll be able to get a lot done. He says that after the heated debates of last year, lawmakers are prepared to work together during the upcoming lame duck session, having learned from past mistakes:

Proos expects the next state budget to be drafted and approved by the end of the year. He also thinks energy policy and the state smoking ban will occupy the legislature between now and January.
