This bill amends the current state smokefree law to prohibit smoking in all enclosed workplaces, including restaurants, bars, and private clubs. A Senate Substitute Amendment preempts local governments from restricting smoking in outdoor areas other than public property, including within a specified reasonable distance from restaurants, bars and other retail establishments.
