This bill amends the Smokefree Air Act to say that the current exemption for gaming floors of casinos may be voted down by a community when it holds a referendum on whether to grant a facility a gaming license. This is accomplished by also amending the gaming license code to require that any county referendum to approve a gaming license for an applicant with a gaming floor must include a separate proposition in the referendum about whether or not to permit the current exemption allowing smoking on gaming floors.
