This bill amends the new North Dakota smokefree law to allow the person in control of a public place or place of employment to be reimbursed by the tobacco prevention and control advisory committee for costs incurred in complying with the signage and enforcement requirements. The bill was amended to state that the person in control of a public place or place of employment may request from the tobacco prevention and control advisory committee the signs necessary to comply with the signage requirements.
