This bill prohibits smoking in public places and places of employment, including restaurants and bars. Smoking is still permitted in tobacco shops, tobacco bars, and private clubs.

EXEMPTIONS: Smoking is allowed in a private residence except when used as a child-care, adult day-care, or health care facility; hotel/motel rooms; a nursing home or long-term care facility; a tobacco shop; a tobacco bar that was in operation on May 15, 2015; a private club except when open to the public; the outdoor area of a restaurant or bar; an outdoor porch or patio that is not accessible to the public; and a tobacco product manufacturing facility.
