This bill is preemptive and prohibits local Boards of Health from adopting smokefree restrictions for veterans' and active duty military organizations. The bill was amended to also establish procedures for to allow race tracks, casinos, and bars, fraternal orders, and other "adult-only" facilities to apply for exemption from local smokefree laws.
