The bill was significantly amended to only prohibit smoking marijuana in motor vehicles and unanimously passed the House. This bill states that a person may not smoke marijuana in a public place--including restaurants, bars, schools, stores--unless authorized by a government entity that has jurisdiction over the public place, as well as in motor vehicles.
