HB121 - WITHDRAWN AN ACT relating to the use of tobacco products.

 This bill prevents local governments from prohibiting the use of tobacco products in public and private places and government buildings. The bill also overturns any existing local laws addressing tobacco use.

EXEMPTIONS: The bill does not apply to state universities, state-run hospitals and residential facilities for the mentally ill or mentally retarded, veteran’s nursing homes and health facilities, and jails and detention facilities.
