This bill amends the state Clean Indoor Air Act by 
(1) changing the “bar” definition to mean establishments
that generate less than 40% of sales from food service,
(2) allowing smoking in designated bar areas of restaurants,
and (3) allowing smoking in bars that have approved
air filtration and purification devices. The amendment
 exempts bowling allies and pool halls with air filtration
devices from the law.
