EXEMPTIONS: Smoking is allowed in bars and private clubs, day care facilities outside hours of operation with parental notification; nursing homes in a separately enclosed, separately ventilated area; during scientific studies; during traditional Native American ceremonies; private homes, and hotel/motel rooms.
