SB2865-(workplaces, restaurants & bars)-An Act Relating to Health-Died
This bill prohibits smoking in all enclosed or partially enclosed public places and places of employment, including restaurants, bars, bowling alleys, nightclubs; and including twenty feet from entrances, exits, windows that open, and ventilation intakes. The bill also prohibits the sale of cigarettes from vending machines and lunch wagons near schools, as well as the sale of sample cigarettes, promotional materials, and coupons to those under 18.

Smoking is allowed in private residences, except when used as a child care/adult day care facility; 20% hotel/motel rooms; retail tobacco stores; private/semi-private rooms in long term care facilities; outdoor areas of places of employment; and all areas covered under this bill when smoking is part of a production being filmed, can courtyards, lanais or other open areas except those of which are within twenty feet from entrances, exits, windows that open, and ventilation intakes.
