Smoking is allowed in private residences, except when used as a licensed child care, adult day-care, or health care facility; 20% of hotel/motel rooms; retail tobacco stores, assisted living facilities or nursing homes; outdoor areas of employment; smoking areas at international airports; tobacco manufacturers/importers/wholesalers; private/semi-private rooms in health care facilities with doctor authorization; convention facilities; restaurants and bars that do not allow or employ people under the age of 18; separately enclosed and ventilated rooms in restaurants and bars; separately enclosed and ventilated areas in workplaces provided that they are non-public and people are not required to enter for work; common work areas and private offices in private places of employment, other than medical facilities, that are open to the general public by appointment only; private clubs.
