This bill strengthens the current Oregon Clean Indoor Air Act to make all restaurants and bars smokefree. The bill also repeals the preemptive language in the current law and prohibits smoking within 10 feet of entrances/exits/windows of public places.

EXEMPTIONS: Smoking is allowed in 25% of hotel/motel rooms and American Indian traditional ceremonies. It is implied that smoking is allowed in private residences except when used as a child care/adult care/health care facility.
