SB103 - (preemptive; liquor license exemption) - An Act Concerning the Authorization of Smoking in Liquor Establishments - Died

This bill allows special liquor licenses that allow smoking in establishments with a liquor license. The bill would also preempt any community from enacting a stronger law, and would weaken the existing strong local laws. Smoking licenses would be available for the following classes of liquor licenses: Beer and Wine; Bed and Breakfast; Hotel and Restaurant; Tavern; Optional Premises; Retail Gaming Tavern; Brew Pub; Club; Arts; Racetrack; and Vintner's Restaurant.
