HB762 - (restaurants and bar) - An Act prohibiting smoking in restaurants, cocktail lounges, and certain enclosed public places - Inexpedient To Legislate
This bill amends the current state law to make restaurants smokefree by removing the exemptions for restaurants and cocktail lounges, defined as bar areas of restaurants, and private clubs. Enclosed smoking areas are still allowed in workplaces, but workplaces must be smokefree if smoke cannot be “effectively segregated� in the smoking areas.
