State lawmakers are considering expanding the smoking ban—to “eliminate smoking in all indoor public places and workplaces."...

State Representative Lucky Lamons, (D) District 66, says personally, he'd choose a non-smoking establishment, but when considering a no-smoking mandate-

"I also see the value of the private business owner," Rep. Lamons adds, "and not having the government regulate what they can and can’t do as it opposes to how they can run their business."

However, State Representative Jeannie McDaniel—also a non-smoker—says the people she represents don't agree.

"When it comes down to tobacco in my district, I've only heard from people who would support this law," Rep. McDaniel adds, "They would support it."
