This bill would prohibit smoking in public places and places of employment, including restaurants and bars. Cigar bars are exempt. Smoking is also prohibited within 15 feet of entrances of smokefree buildings.

EXEMPTIONS: Smoking is allowed in private residences except when used as child/adult/health care facilities; 20% of hotel/motel rooms; private or semiprivate rooms in a nursing home or long-term care facility occupied exclusively by smokers; private clubs except when open to the public; outdoor places of employment; tobacco retail stores; and cigar bars.
