This bill provides a list of occupational safeguards and rights for employees required to work on video display terminals, including that "Areas where smoking is allowed shall have rates of ventilation sufficient to protect occupants from the adverse effects of altered air quality." All indoor workplaces except for smoking bars and retail tobacco stores are required to be smokefree by state law.
