This bill prohibits smoking in enclosed public places and places of employment, including restaurants. Gaming facilities are exempt. Amendments were added 1/25 to exempt bars, taverns and tobacco shops, and to preempt communities from making gaming facilities smokefree. Additional amendments were adopted to exempt private clubs and family owned and operated places of employment not open to the public.
